The Shoei Neotec II is a premium modular touring helmet that combines the day-to-day practicality of a flip-front chin bar with the construction quality and interior refinement that define Shoei's upper range. It is aimed at long-distance and commuter riders who want the convenience of an open-face helmet at stops without carrying separate eyewear, and the protection of a full-face helmet on the move.

The JAUNT TC-1 version presents the JAUNT graphic in Shoei's TC-1 red colourway, offering a purposeful aesthetic that works equally on touring bikes and sports-tourers. The Neotec II's AIM multi-composite fibre shell and multi-density EPS liner underpin its reputation as a helmet that does not trade safety for convenience.

Clean the outer shell with lukewarm water and a mild soap using a soft cloth; never use petrol, solvents, abrasive cleaners or compressed air.
Wipe the outer visor with a lukewarm damp cloth; do not dry-wipe a dirty visor as trapped grit will permanently scratch the surface.
Install the Pinlock EVO anti-fog insert for cold, wet or humid riding conditions; clean it with a soft damp cloth only, never rub dry.
Remove the cheek pads and interior liner, hand wash in cool water with a gentle detergent, rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reinstalling — do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Clean the integrated sun visor in the same manner as the outer visor; retract it fully before washing the helmet interior.
Store the helmet in its supplied bag or a clean, breathable cover in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and chemical fumes.
Do not apply adhesive stickers, paint or any chemical treatment to the shell exterior as these can degrade the composite structure beneath the surface coating.
Inspect the chin bar locking mechanism periodically; it should click firmly into both the open and closed positions with no play.
Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even where external damage is not visible — EPS liner damage is internal and not reusable.
Shoei recommends replacing the helmet after five years of use from the date of manufacture, or sooner if the liner has compressed, the retention system has worn, or the shell has been compromised in any way.
