Clean the shell with mild soap and warm water on a soft, damp cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners, or aerosol sprays that can damage the paintwork and graphic film.
Clean the CNS-3 shield and Pinlock 120 EVO insert with a soft, damp microfibre cloth — never wipe dry as dust particles will scratch the surface.
Remove the interior lining and cheek pads before hand-washing in lukewarm water with mild detergent; allow to air-dry completely before reinserting.
Operate the QSV-2 sun visor with clean, dry hands and confirm it is fully engaged in the up or down position before setting off.
Inspect the flip-up chin mechanism periodically for smooth, positive latching; if any play, stiffness, or unusual resistance develops, have the helmet assessed by an authorised Shoei dealer before further use.
Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even where no visible damage is present — internal shell integrity cannot be assessed by eye.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel, oil, and extreme temperatures; keep it away from contact with painted or lacquered surfaces that may transfer chemicals.
If fitting an optional Shoei SRL3 Bluetooth unit, follow the manufacturer's installation guide precisely; charge the SRL3 fully before first use and keep its firmware current via the Sena Smartphone App.
