Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth or mild soapy water; never use abrasive cleaners, petrol-based solvents or spray polishes as these degrade the shell and finish.
Clean the visor with a soft damp cloth — avoid dry-wiping, as dust particles will scratch the lens surface.
Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash in cool water with a gentle detergent; allow to air dry fully before reinstalling — do not tumble dry or use direct heat.
Operate the drop-down sun visor mechanism with clean hands; if the mechanism stiffens, a very small amount of silicone lubricant on the pivot points is acceptable — avoid petroleum-based lubricants.
Store the helmet in its bag or box away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and extreme heat, all of which degrade EPS foam performance over time.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even where no visible damage is present — EPS liner damage is internal and cannot be assessed by sight alone.
Inspect the retention buckle and chin strap regularly for signs of wear, fraying or deformation and do not ride with a compromised retention system.
Do not apply aftermarket stickers, paint or chemical coatings to the outer shell, as these can compromise structural integrity and void the manufacturer warranty.
