  • Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; never use petroleum-based cleaners, solvents, or abrasive cloths as these can degrade the shell finish and graphic.
  • Clean the face shield with warm water and mild soap applied with a soft cloth; allow insects or debris to soak before wiping to avoid scratching the lens surface.
  • The Pinlock EVO insert must be correctly seated against both lens pins to form a proper seal; an improperly fitted insert will not prevent fogging.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads by following the press-and-pull tabs; hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent and allow to air dry completely before refitting — do not tumble dry.
  • Inspect the QSV-2 internal sun visor slider and CWR-F2 shield latch mechanism before each ride to confirm smooth, positive operation.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact regardless of visible damage, as EPS liner compression is not reversible.
  • Store the helmet in its protective bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, and petrochemicals, all of which accelerate shell and liner degradation.
  • Avoid hanging the helmet by its chin strap for extended periods as sustained strap tension can stress the D-ring retention system.
