The Shoei GT-Air II is a premium sport-touring full-face helmet built for riders who want one helmet that handles commuting, touring and weekend rides with equal confidence. Its defining feature is the integrated drop-down sun visor, which eliminates the need to carry a tinted visor or stop to swap lenses mid-ride.

The MM93 Road TC-5 graphic draws on Marc Marquez's personal road livery, rendered across Shoei's multi-ply matrix AIM shell in black, red and silver. Inside, a refined ventilation system and a fully removable, washable interior deliver the day-long comfort that sport-touring riders require.

  • Clean the outer shell with mild soap and warm water applied with a soft cloth; never use petrol, solvents, acetone or abrasive cleaners, as these degrade the shell finish and can weaken the structure.
  • Clean the visor with a damp, soft microfibre cloth or mild soap and water; do not wipe a dry visor — grit will cause scratching.
  • Remove the Pinlock EVO lens from the visor before cleaning; clean each piece separately and allow to air dry before refitting, taking care not to over-tension the lens pins.
  • The interior liner and cheek pads are fully removable — wash by hand or on a delicate machine cycle in cold water with mild detergent, then air dry flat; do not tumble dry or iron.
  • Operate the QSV-1 sun visor using the left-side lever with steady, deliberate pressure; do not force the lever if the sun visor binds, as this may indicate contamination or misalignment of the guide channel.
  • Never apply aftermarket stickers, paint, cable ties or adhesives to the shell or EPS liner, as chemical contact or stress concentrations can compromise structural integrity.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel, oils and cleaning products; a breathable helmet bag is preferable to an airtight container.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact — even if external damage is not visible, the EPS liner may be permanently compressed and its protective capacity reduced.
  • Inspect the visor pivot pins and seals periodically; replace the visor if deep scratching, crazing or persistent fogging that cannot be resolved by cleaning is present.
