The Shoei GT-Air 3 is a full-face sport-touring helmet designed for riders who cover long distances and demand a high standard of protection, comfort, and visibility. Its integrated internal sun visor eliminates the need to carry a separate tinted shield, making it practical for variable light conditions encountered throughout a day's ride.

Built on Shoei's AIM+ multi-composite shell and certified to ECE 22.06, the GT-Air 3 ships with a Pinlock EVO anti-fog insert as standard. The Scenario TC-3 variant applies a distinctive graphic finish to the shell. The interior is fully removable and washable, and the helmet accommodates a Sena SRL3 Bluetooth communicator without modification.

Remove the interior liner and cheek pads by releasing their press-stud fasteners; hand wash in cool water with mild detergent and air-dry completely before reinstalling.
Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; never use solvent-based cleaners, fuel, or abrasive pads as these damage the paint and degrade the shell.
Clean the face shield with warm soapy water and a soft cloth; always wet the surface before wiping — wiping a dry shield with grit on it will cause permanent scratching.
To fit the Pinlock EVO insert, gently flex the face shield and locate the insert's pins onto the shield's receiver posts; press firmly until the seal sits flush around the full perimeter to ensure anti-fog performance.
Operate the integrated sun visor slider with clean, dry fingers; if the mechanism feels stiff, clean the slider track with a dry cloth — do not apply lubricant to plastic visor components.
If installing a Sena SRL3 communicator, follow the Sena GT-Air 3 installation guide and use the pre-formed speaker pockets; do not cut or permanently modify the liner to fit non-compatible units.
Store the helmet in its bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuels, solvents, and heat sources, all of which degrade EPS foam and shell integrity over time.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact regardless of visible damage — the EPS liner is a single-use energy absorber and its protective capacity is not restored after an impact.
Shoei recommends retiring the helmet five years from the date of first use, or seven years from the date of manufacture, whichever occurs first.
