The Shoei GT-Air 3 is a full-face sport-touring helmet built for riders who move between daily commuting, weekend runs and longer touring distances without wanting to swap helmets. Its AIM+ multi-fibre composite shell delivers a premium structural foundation across multiple shell sizes, giving a closer, more refined fit than a one-shell design.

An integrated drop-down sun visor and included Pinlock EVO anti-fog lens address the changing light and weather conditions common to Australian riding, removing the need to carry a spare tinted shield. The REALM TC-5 graphic gives the helmet a clear visual identity while retaining the clean functionality the GT-Air line is known for.

  • Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth and mild soapy water; never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol, aerosol sprays or abrasive cleaners as these damage the shell finish and graphic lacquer.
  • Clean the visor with warm soapy water and a soft cloth; avoid dry wiping or abrasive materials, which will scratch the lens surface.
  • Install the included Pinlock EVO lens into the visor's locking pins before riding in cold, damp or low-light conditions to prevent interior fogging.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads as described in the owner's manual; hand wash in mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reinstalling — do not machine wash or tumble dry.
  • After any significant impact — even with no visible external damage — retire the helmet immediately; EPS liner material absorbs energy by deforming internally and cannot be inspected visually for loss of protection.
  • Inspect the visor latch, sun visor slider, retention system and chin strap fastener regularly; replace any worn, cracked or stiff components before riding.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, heat sources and chemical fumes, all of which degrade shell resin and liner materials over time.
  • Consider replacing the helmet at least every five years from the date of manufacture, as materials age regardless of apparent condition or frequency of use.
