The Shoei GT-Air 3 is a premium full-face sport-touring helmet built for riders who spend serious time in the saddle. Constructed with Shoei's AIM+ multi-ply composite shell, it balances structural rigidity with a low overall weight, making it suitable for everything from daily commuting to extended touring.
The REALM TC-1 is a distinctive graphic variant finished in Shoei's TC-1 colourway. At its core, the GT-Air 3 carries over the integrated QSV-2 internal sun visor that made its predecessors popular — allowing quick tint adjustment without dismounting or carrying separate eyewear.
Practical details include a fully removable and washable interior, Shoei's Emergency Quick Release System (EQRS) on the cheek pads for emergency responder access, and compatibility with the Sena SRL3 integrated Bluetooth unit for riders who require in-helmet communication.

- Clean the outer shell with mild soap and warm water using a soft, damp cloth; avoid petroleum-based cleaners, solvents, and abrasive materials.
- Clean the CNS-1 visor with a purpose-made visor cloth or lukewarm water; never wipe it dry when dusty, as grit will scratch the surface.
- Remove the Pinlock EVO insert before cleaning the visor; wash the insert with water only and allow it to air-dry before refitting.
- Operate the QSV-2 internal sun visor only when the main visor is fully closed to prevent road debris from contacting the lens mechanism.
- Remove the interior liner and cheek pads, hand-wash in cool water with mild detergent, and air-dry — do not tumble dry or use direct heat.
- Store the helmet in its bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and chemical fumes, which degrade shell resins over time.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even where no visible damage is apparent — internal EPS damage is not visible to the naked eye.
- Inspect the chin strap, retention buckle, and EQRS cheek pad fittings periodically for signs of wear, fraying, or damage.
