Clean the outer shell with mild soap and warm water on a soft cloth; never use solvents, petrol, paint thinners, or abrasive cleaners as these damage the shell material and finish.
Clean the visor with a damp microfibre cloth or dedicated visor cleaner; avoid dry wiping as it scratches the lens surface.
Remove the interior lining and cheek pads and hand-wash in cool water with mild detergent following the care labels; allow to air-dry fully before reinstalling — do not use a tumble dryer.
If a Pinlock EVO insert is fitted, clean it separately with a damp cloth only; do not use glass cleaners or abrasives on the Pinlock lens, and periodically check that the insert pins seal correctly against the visor to maintain anti-fog performance.
Do not allow aerosol products (insect repellent, sunscreen, chain lubricant) to contact the helmet; these degrade the shell, visor optics, and EPS liner material.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — the EPS liner compresses permanently on impact and cannot be relied upon a second time.
Replace the visor if scratched or optically distorted, as compromised clarity affects riding visibility.
Inspect the retention system, buckle, and all closure points periodically for wear, cracking, or deformation.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, UV exposure, and fuel vapour; a breathable helmet bag protects the finish and visor from contact scratching during storage or transport.
