Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and warm water; never use petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners or petrol, which can degrade the shell and damage graphic finishes.
Wipe the face shield with a damp microfibre cloth; never drag a cloth across a dry visor as trapped grit will scratch the lens surface.
Remove the CWR-F2 PN shield completely for thorough cleaning by releasing the tab mechanism at each side; refit by aligning the pivot points and pressing firmly until they click.
Remove the 3D Max-Dry liner and cheek pads and hand-wash in cold water with a mild detergent; reshape and allow to air-dry fully before reinserting — do not tumble dry.
Operate the QSV-2 sun visor slider with clean hands; if the slider feels stiff, clean the channel with a dry cloth — do not lubricate with oils as they attract dust and can cloud the lens.
Inspect the Pinlock insert seal periodically; if fogging appears at the edges, reseat the lens by pressing the two pins gently against the shield posts until the seal contacts the full perimeter.
Store the helmet in a fabric helmet bag or clean container away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, oil and chemicals, all of which degrade EPS and shell materials over time.
Do not hang the helmet from handlebars, mirrors or hooks that contact the shell or EPS liner — rest it upside-down or on a flat-crown stand.
Replace the helmet after any impact, even where no visible damage is present; EPS liner crush cannot be assessed visually and its protective capacity is single-use.
Replace the face shield when scratching causes noticeable optical distortion or glare scatter, as compromised optics increase rider fatigue.
