Clean the shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water; never use solvent-based, petroleum-based or abrasive cleaners, as these degrade the shell structure and graphic finish.
Clean the visor with a damp microfibre cloth or a Pinlock-approved lens cloth; avoid dry-wiping to prevent fine surface scratches that reduce optical clarity.
To fit the Pinlock EVO lens, seat it evenly onto the visor pins and press firmly until it clicks into place on both sides — an incomplete seal will allow fogging.
Remove the cheek pads and 3D Max-Dry II liner using the press-and-pull release tabs; hand wash gently in cool or lukewarm water with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before refitting.
Use the QSV-2 internal sun visor slider deliberately and keep attention on the road; ensure the sun visor is fully retracted before removing the helmet.
Store the helmet in a helmet bag away from direct sunlight, heat sources, fuel, oil, paint fumes and chemicals — prolonged exposure to these agents can weaken the shell without visible signs.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible; the EPS liner is a single-use energy-absorbing component and may be compromised internally.
Inspect the visor regularly for chips or deep scratches and replace it if optical clarity is reduced, particularly at the centre of vision.
