The Shoei GT-Air 3 is a full-face sport-touring helmet built for riders who cover serious distance and demand protection, comfort, and versatility in changing conditions. The Discipline TC-1 is a bold graphic variant finished in Shoei's TC-1 colourway.

The helmet is constructed around Shoei's AIM+ multi-composite fibre shell and features a fully integrated drop-down internal sun visor — eliminating the need for a separate visor swap during rides across varying light. The interior cavity is prepared for the SENA SRL3 Bluetooth communication system, making it a practical choice for connected touring.

A removable and washable liner, emergency quick-release cheek pads, and adjustable ventilation round out a helmet designed for long-haul use without compromise.

  • Clean the outer shell with mild soap and lukewarm water using a soft cloth; avoid solvents, petrol-based products, and abrasive cleaners, which can degrade the shell finish and graphic.
  • Wipe the outer visor with a soft, damp cloth or a dedicated visor cleaner; never dry-wipe as this scratches the surface.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash with mild detergent; allow to air-dry fully before refitting — do not machine-wash or tumble-dry.
  • Check the Pinlock lens is correctly seated on the visor pins and inspect the perimeter seal periodically; re-seat if fogging appears at the edges.
  • Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact regardless of whether visible damage is present — the EPS liner is a single-use safety component.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, UV exposure, and fuel or solvent vapours; use the helmet bag if one was supplied.
  • Shoei recommends replacing the helmet within five years of the date of manufacture irrespective of visible condition or frequency of use.
  • Check that all vent sliders operate freely and clear any debris from vent channels with a soft brush as needed.
  • For SENA SRL3 Bluetooth installation, follow SENA's fitment guide specific to the GT-Air 3; no modification to the helmet shell is required.
