The shell is constructed using Shoei's AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) multi-ply fiberglass composite, producing a lightweight and rigid structure. The removable and washable interior maintains comfort across long rides and keeps the helmet hygienic over time.

  • Clean the outer shell using a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and warm water; rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before wearing or storing.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand wash them according to the care label sewn into each piece; allow to dry fully before reinserting.
  • Clean the visor with lukewarm water and a soft microfibre cloth only; abrasive pads, paper towels, or harsh chemicals will scratch the optical surface.
  • Store the helmet in its protective bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, and solvent fumes — all of which can degrade shell and liner materials over time.
  • Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even when no visible damage is present; internal EPS foam does not recover after a single compression event.
  • Do not apply petroleum-based cleaners, paint thinner, or similar solvents to the shell, liner, retention strap, or buckle hardware.
  • Inspect the chin strap webbing and retention buckle regularly for fraying, cracking, or mechanical wear, and do not ride with a compromised retention system.
  • Avoid mounting the helmet on mirrors, handlebars, or other narrow protrusions when not in use, as this can deform the EPS liner.
