The Shoei EX-Zero is a retro open-face helmet built for riders drawn to the café racer and scrambler aesthetic. Designed for use with goggles rather than an integrated visor, it suits heritage-inspired motorcycles and the riders who seek a clean, classic silhouette without sacrificing Shoei's standard of manufacture.
The MM93 Master TC-5 graphic is a collaboration with Marc Márquez, applying a contemporary racing identity to the EX-Zero's traditional form. It is one of several graphic variants in the EX-Zero range and carries the same shell and interior construction as the rest of the line.

- Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft damp cloth; never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol, brake fluid or abrasive cleaners, as these will damage the shell finish and graphics.
- Remove the interior lining per the instructions in the Shoei owner's manual and hand wash with a mild detergent in lukewarm water; allow to air dry completely before refitting.
- Clean goggles separately and store them away from the interior lining to avoid marking the fabric.
- Inspect the shell, liner and retention system for cracks, deformation or damage after any impact — even one that appears minor; replace the helmet if any damage is found, as structural integrity may be compromised invisibly.
- Store the helmet in its supplied bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, oils and chemical fumes, all of which degrade the shell and foam over time.
- Do not apply paint, aftermarket stickers or any chemical treatment to the shell exterior, as this may weaken the composite structure.
- Replace the helmet in accordance with Shoei's recommended service life, and consult the manual or an authorised Shoei retailer for guidance on service intervals.
