Check that the seat matches your MT-09's generation and model year before fitting; seat mounts differ between versions.
Fit the seat using the bike's standard seat latch or fixing points and confirm it is fully locked down before riding.
Clean with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution; wipe off and allow to air dry naturally.
Avoid solvents, petrol, degreasers, alcohol-based cleaners and abrasive pads, which can damage the cover and stitching.
Keep silicone sprays and gloss polishes off the seating surface — they leave it slippery under the rider.
