The Sena SRL3 is a purpose-built Bluetooth communication system engineered in collaboration with Shoei, designed exclusively for the GT-Air 3, Neotec 3, and J-Cruise 3 helmets. It fits cleanly into the dedicated internal cavities of each helmet with no adhesive, no external clamps, and no visible cabling.
Audio is tuned by Harman Kardon and backed by Advanced Noise Control™ to maintain clarity at highway speeds. Mesh Intercom 3.0 supports group riding at scale — up to 24 riders in private Group Mesh — while remaining backward-compatible with earlier Sena Mesh devices. Voice commands, Google Assistant, and Siri work hands-free in eight languages.

- Installation requires no adhesive — components snap into the dedicated internal cavities of compatible Shoei helmets; full installation typically takes under 15 minutes.
- Use the boom microphone with the Neotec 3 (flip-face helmet); use the wired microphone with the GT-Air 3 and J-Cruise 3 (full-face).
- Charge fully before first use using the included WiFi charging cable; a complete charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.
- Do not charge below 0°C or above 45°C; operating temperature range is -20°C to 55°C.
- Keep firmware current using Sena Device Manager software (Windows 10+ or macOS 10.15+), available from the Sena support page — updates can improve intercom stability and add features.
- Use the Sena Motorcycles App (iOS/Android) to customise EQ presets, configure Mesh channels, and adjust intercom settings.
- Activate voice commands with a long press of the centre button; Google Assistant and Siri are supported hands-free.
- Mesh Intercom automatically reconnects riders who come back within range — no manual re-pairing is required during a ride.
- Wipe the unit and controls with a soft, lightly damp cloth; avoid solvents, petroleum-based cleaners, and abrasives.
- Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight when not in use.
