These aftermarket shocks are supplied without warranty. We have stocked them without issue for many years, but final use and application are beyond our control and may exceed the product's design limits. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
- Before ordering, measure your existing shocks fully extended from eyelet centre to eyelet centre and confirm 335mm suits your motorcycle, along with the bushing mount style.
- Fit both shocks as a matched pair — never mix a new shock with a worn one on the opposite side.
- Support the motorcycle securely under the frame so the rear wheel hangs free before removing the original shocks; replace one side at a time to keep the swingarm located.
- Torque the upper and lower mounting fasteners to your motorcycle manufacturer's specification and re-check them after the first ride and again after a few hundred kilometres.
- Set both shocks to the same preload position; adjust with a C-spanner or preload tool and recheck ride height and clearance to the swingarm, guards, exhaust and chain after adjusting.
- Check clearance through full suspension travel before riding, including at full compression and full extension.
- Wipe the chrome springs and powdercoated bodies clean with a soft damp cloth and a mild detergent, then dry them; avoid harsh solvents, degreasers and abrasive polishes on the powdercoat.
- Avoid aiming a pressure washer directly at the damper shaft or seals, and keep the shaft free of grit — it will accelerate seal wear.
- Inspect periodically for oil weeping around the shaft or seal, damaged or perished mount bushings, corrosion, and any loss of damping; replace the pair if any of these appear.
- After washing or riding in the wet, dry the shocks and treat the chrome with a light corrosion inhibitor to protect the plating; store spare shocks indoors in a cool, dry place.
- Do not exceed the load the shocks are designed for, and do not modify, heat, weld or attempt to disassemble the damper body.
