Check before every ride that the CE shoulder and elbow armour is seated correctly in its pockets and has not shifted.
Use the waist and arm adjusters to take up slack so the armour stays over the joints it is meant to protect.
Remove the 100 gram thermal liner in warmer weather and refit it for cold rides; store the liner with the jacket so it does not go missing.
Open the air vents in hot conditions and close them in wet weather to help the Humax membrane keep water out.
Before washing, take out the thermal liner and remove the armour, then close all zips and fasten hook-and-loop tabs so they do not snag the fabric.
Avoid bleach, fabric softeners and dry-cleaning solvents, which can degrade the waterproof and breathable membrane.
Do not tumble dry or dry on a heater or in front of a fire; hang the jacket to dry naturally away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight.
