  • Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft, damp cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents, fuel, or abrasive cleaners that can degrade the shell material and finish.
  • Clean the visor with warm water and a clean microfibre cloth; never wipe a dry visor as fine debris will scratch the lens surface.
  • Inspect the modular locking mechanism before every ride to confirm the chin bar latches securely in both the fully closed and fully open (if rideable) positions — do not ride with the chin bar partially engaged.
  • If the inner liner is removable, hand-wash it in cool water with a mild detergent and allow it to air-dry completely before reinserting; never use a tumble dryer or direct heat.
  • Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even when external damage is not visible; the EPS liner absorbs energy by deforming internally and may no longer provide adequate protection.
  • Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, petrol, oils, and cleaning solvents, which can silently degrade the shell and foam liner over time.
  • Do not apply paint, solvent-based adhesives, or aftermarket stickers to the shell, as these chemicals can weaken its structural integrity.
  • Check the chin strap and retention system periodically for wear, fraying, or loss of buckle function; replace if any deterioration is found.
