The Rjays Tourtech V is a motorcycle helmet from one of Australia's most recognised riding gear brands. Designed with touring in mind, it suits riders who spend time on open roads and want reliable, practical head protection.

The matte black finish gives the helmet a clean, understated look that complements a wide range of riding styles and kit colourways.

  • Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and a mild soap solution; avoid petroleum-based solvents, harsh detergents, or spray cleaners, as these can damage the shell material and degrade the matte finish.
  • Wipe the visor with a damp microfibre cloth — never wipe it dry when it is dusty, as doing so will permanently scratch the lens surface.
  • If the interior lining is removable, hand-wash it in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent and allow it to air-dry completely before reinserting; do not machine-wash or tumble-dry.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, and chemical fumes; prolonged UV exposure and chemical contact degrade EPS foam and retention system components.
  • Avoid hanging the helmet from handlebars or mirrors by the chin strap for extended periods, as sustained load on the strap and buckle can stress the retention system.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — EPS liner compression is often internal and the helmet may no longer provide adequate protection in a subsequent crash.
  • As a general guideline, retire and replace the helmet five years from its date of manufacture, or sooner if the shell, visor, retention system, or interior liner shows signs of deterioration or damage.
