  • Clean the outer shell with mild soap and warm water; avoid petroleum-based solvents, harsh detergents, or aerosol sprays, which can degrade the shell and liner materials.
  • Clean the visor using a soft, damp microfibre cloth; never wipe a dry visor, as this risks scratching the surface.
  • Open the chin bar fully before putting the helmet on or taking it off to reduce stress on the modular hinge mechanism.
  • Periodically check the chin bar locking mechanism to confirm it clicks firmly into the closed position before riding.
  • Inspect the visor seal and hinge pivot points for wear; replace if cracked or deteriorated to maintain weather protection.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and fuel vapour, which can weaken structural materials over time.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — internal EPS foam does not recover after a strike.
  • Do not rest the helmet on the fuel tank, as paint-cleaning chemicals and fuel spillage can damage the shell finish and padding.
