The Rjays Precinct is a softshell riding jacket built for everyday street and urban riding. A three-layer stretch softshell outer gives it the relaxed look and easy movement of a casual jacket, while protector pockets reinforced with DuPont Kevlar fibre based fabric and CE Level 2 armour keep the protective side of the equation honest.

Before each ride, check that the shoulder and elbow armour and the back pad are seated correctly in their pockets and that no seams or stitching are damaged.
Remove all armour and the back pad before cleaning, and close every zip and vent so hardware does not snag the fabric.
For everyday marks, sponge the softshell with lukewarm water and a small amount of mild detergent, then rinse the area with clean water.
Do not use bleach, solvents, petrol, degreasers or dry-cleaning chemicals on the shell, and avoid fabric softeners, which can clog the fabric.
Air dry on a wide hanger away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhaust pipes; do not tumble dry, and do not iron over armour pockets or trims.
Wipe armour and the EVA back pad with a damp cloth and let them dry fully before refitting.
The softshell shell resists light spray but is not a waterproof outer, so carry a rain layer for sustained wet-weather riding and dry the jacket thoroughly afterwards.
Use the waist connection zip to join the jacket to compatible riding pants so it stays in place at speed.
Store hanging in a cool, dry, ventilated place rather than compressed in a bag, which can deform the armour and crease the shell.
Replace the jacket or any impacted armour after a crash, as protective performance is compromised even when the damage is not visible.
