- Clean the outer shell using a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water; avoid petroleum-based cleaners, solvents or abrasive products that can damage the shell finish or graphics.
- Clean the visor with lukewarm water and a soft, lint-free cloth only — never wipe a dry visor, as dust particles will scratch the lens.
- If the interior liner is removable, hand wash it in cool water with a mild detergent and allow it to air dry fully before reinstalling; do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and chemical fumes, all of which degrade EPS foam and shell materials over time.
- After any impact — even a low-speed drop — inspect the helmet thoroughly for cracks, deformation or compression of the EPS liner; replace the helmet immediately if impact damage is suspected, as internal damage may not be visible externally.
- Do not paint, apply adhesive stickers or use chemical contact cleaners on the shell, as these can compromise structural integrity.
- Replace the helmet at the end of its recommended service life or earlier if the shell, liner or retention system shows signs of wear or damage.
