- Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents, petrol, or harsh chemicals that can damage the shell or matte finish.
- Clean the visor with warm water and a clean, soft cloth; never use abrasive pads or dry-wipe a dusty visor, as this will scratch the lens.
- If the interior liner is removable, hand-wash it in cool water with mild detergent and allow to air-dry fully before reinserting.
- Allow the helmet to air-dry naturally after washing or rain exposure; do not use direct heat sources such as hair dryers or place it near exhaust pipes.
- Inspect the retention system (chin strap and buckle) before every ride to confirm it is secure and undamaged.
- After any impact — even a low-speed drop — retire the helmet or have it inspected by the manufacturer; internal damage may not be visible.
- Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, and solvents when not in use; a helmet bag helps prevent scratches to the shell.
- Do not apply stickers, adhesives, or paint to the shell without confirming compatibility, as some products can compromise the shell's structural integrity.
