- Clean the outer shell using a soft cloth dampened with warm water and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners, or aerosol sprays that can degrade the shell finish and graphic.
- Wipe the visor with a damp microfibre cloth only; never use a dry cloth, which can introduce fine scratches that impair vision.
- Remove the interior liner and cheek pads (where detachable) and hand-wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent; allow all padding to air-dry fully before reinserting.
- Never machine-wash or tumble-dry interior components.
- Inspect the chin strap buckle and retention system before every ride to confirm it fastens and releases correctly.
- Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact — even if no external damage is visible, the EPS liner may have absorbed the force and be compromised.
- Store the helmet in a protective bag or carry case, away from direct sunlight, fuel, oils, and chemicals, which can degrade both the shell and the EPS liner over time.
- Replace a scratched or crazed visor promptly, as optical distortion is a riding hazard.
