- Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petrol-based solvents or harsh chemicals, which can degrade the shell finish and structural materials.
- Clean the visor with a dedicated plastic-safe lens cleaner or warm soapy water applied with a soft cloth; never use abrasive materials that will scratch the lens surface.
- If the internal comfort liner and cheek pads are removable, hand-wash them in cool water with mild detergent and allow to air-dry completely before reinserting — do not machine-dry.
- Store the helmet in a breathable dust bag away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, and chemical fumes; prolonged UV and heat exposure degrades both the EPS liner and shell over time.
- Inspect the chin strap and retention buckle before every ride; replace the strap if it shows fraying, cuts or buckle damage.
- After any impact — including a drop from handlebar height — inspect the helmet carefully for cracks or deformation and replace it if any structural damage is suspected, even if the shell appears intact.
- As a general guideline, replace the helmet every five years from the date of manufacture, or sooner following an impact, as EPS foam degrades with age regardless of appearance.
- Do not apply solvent-based stickers, aftermarket paint, or non-approved cleaning products to the shell, as these can compromise structural integrity.
