Brush off dust, grit and road salt after wet or dirty rides, then wipe the leather with a soft damp cloth and let it dry naturally.
Recondition the full-grain oil-treated leather periodically with a leather wax or dressing suited to oiled leather; this keeps the upper supple and helps it shed water.
Avoid solvents, petrol, degreasers, harsh detergents and machine washing, all of which can strip the oils from the leather and damage the membrane and bonded seams.
Dry the boots away from direct heat sources such as heaters, fires or hot exhausts; stuff them loosely with paper to hold their shape while drying.
Do not tumble dry or leave them in direct sunlight for long periods, as heat and UV will dry out and crack the leather.
Rinse the Vibram sole and the welt stitching after riding in mud or salt so grit is not left working into the stitched seam.
