The Oxford Rainex is a deluxe outdoor motorcycle cover built to keep a parked bike protected from rain, sun, snow and dust. A tough outer shell handles the weather and the occasional knock, while a soft inner lining sits gently against paint, screens and bodywork.
It suits riders who park on the street, in a driveway or under a carport and want more than a basic dust sheet. Externally bonded seams shed water, handlebar vents let moisture escape rather than trapping condensation underneath, and an adjustable belly strap keeps the cover in place on breezy nights.
Positioned holes and a lock pouch let you pass a chain or disc lock through the cover and keep the padlock off the ground, so the bike stays secured and out of sight. Available in Small, Medium, Large and X-Large to suit everything from commuters to full-dress tourers.

- Let the exhaust, engine and brakes cool before fitting the cover — the lining is heat-resistant for momentary contact only, not sustained contact with hot components.
- Keep the cover away from sharp objects, luggage racks with exposed edges and aftermarket accessories that could pierce the fabric.
- Make sure the bike is clean and free of grit before covering; trapped dust can rub against paint and screens under the lining.
- Sit the vents over the handlebars as intended so air can circulate and condensation can escape.
- Fasten and adjust the belly strap each time so the cover cannot lift or flap in wind.
- Thread your chain or disc lock through the positioned holes and use the lock pouch to keep the padlock off the ground.
- If you use a solar panel charger, seat it in the front inner pocket behind the PVC window with the panel facing outwards and route the lead to the battery before covering the bike.
- Sponge off dirt with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then rinse and let it air dry — avoid solvents, harsh cleaners and pressure washers, which can damage the coating and bonded seams.
- Dry the cover fully before folding or storing it away to prevent mildew and odour.
- Check the seams, strap and lock holes periodically for wear, especially if the cover is left outdoors permanently.
