The Leatt 3DF AirFit Evo Pro Junior Chest Protector is a soft-shell body protector built specifically for younger off-road riders, covering the chest, back and shoulders in a single lightweight garment. Rather than a rigid roost deflector, it uses Leatt's 3DF AirFit multi-impact foam, which stays soft and flexible in use but stiffens on impact to absorb energy.
The 3D-shaped construction is contoured to a junior rider's build for a close, comfortable fit under a jersey, while ventilation slots through the foam keep airflow moving on hot race days. The slimmer BraceOn fitting system lets the protector integrate directly with a Leatt neck brace, so young riders can run both without bulk or interference.
Suited to motocross, enduro and off-road trail riding where CE Level 1 chest, back and shoulder protection is required. Supplied in plastic-free packaging.

- Choose the size using the rider's height: S/M suits 134–146 cm and L/XL suits 147–159 cm.
- Adjust the straps so the chest plate sits centred over the sternum and the protector stays in place when the rider moves — a loose fit reduces coverage in a crash.
- If pairing with a Leatt neck brace, fit the protector using the BraceOn system so the brace seats correctly on the shoulder platforms rather than resting on the foam.
- Wash by hand in cool water with a mild detergent; rinse thoroughly to remove sweat and salts that break down foam and stitching over time.
- Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron or use solvents, bleach or petrol-based cleaners on the impact foam.
- Air dry in the shade — never on a heater, in a hot car or in direct sunlight, as heat can distort the 3DF foam.
- After muddy rides, rinse off grit before it dries into the ventilation slots, then dry fully before storing.
- Store flat or hung in a cool, dry place; avoid leaving it compressed under heavy gear, which can deform the contoured panels.
- Inspect the foam, shell and straps regularly for tears, permanent compression or damaged fasteners, and replace the protector after a heavy impact or if the foam no longer recovers its shape.
- As a growing rider gains height, recheck the fit and coverage rather than continuing in a size that has become too small.
