The Leatt 5.5 FlexLock Enduro is a full-height off-road boot built for enduro, trail and adventure riders who spend long days on the bike. Its FlexLock system lets the ankle flex sideways a controlled amount before locking out, which Leatt says reduces the loads passed into the ankle and knee, while the lower boot flex is adjustable so you can set the stiffness you prefer.
The SlideLock auto-locking closure runs one way and can be pulled shut with gloves on, sealing the top of the boot against dirt and water. A flat, grippy inner face improves feel against the bike, the low-profile toe box keeps gear changes easy, and the enduro-pattern sole gives traction when you are off the pegs pushing or dabbing.
Inside, a breathable 3D mesh liner with anti-slip reinforcement holds the heel down for all-day comfort. The boot is CE tested and certified to EN 13634:2017 and ships in plastic-free packaging.

- Set the FlexLock adjustment on the lower boot to your preferred stiffness before your first ride, and re-check it after a few rides as you settle on a setting.
- Close the boot with the SlideLock closure by pulling the strap in one direction until it locks; check each forged aluminium buckle is fully engaged in its Over-lock before riding.
- Expect a short break-in period — wear the boots around home for a few sessions so the flex zones and liner settle before a long day out.
- Rinse mud and grit off with clean water as soon as practical after a ride, paying attention to the closure track and buckle mechanisms where dirt causes drag.
- Clean with mild soap and a soft brush or cloth; avoid solvents, petrol, degreasers and harsh chemicals, which can damage the outer materials and sole.
- Dry naturally in a well-ventilated spot out of direct sunlight and away from heaters, exhausts or open flame — forced heat can distort the shell and shrink the liner.
- After wet rides, pull the boots open fully so the breathable mesh liner can dry out completely, which helps prevent odour and premature liner wear.
- Inspect the buckles, straps, sole and stitching regularly and replace worn or damaged parts before riding; the boot's certified protection relies on all closures being intact and correctly fastened.
- Store upright in a cool, dry place, ideally loosely closed to help the boots hold their shape.
- Do not modify, cut or heat-reshape any part of the boot, as this voids the EN 13634:2017 certification.
