The Leatt 2.5 Junior Hybrid Chest Protector pairs a hard shell front with a soft shell back, giving young off-road riders roost deflection where it is needed most and a more comfortable, flexible feel behind. The ventilated hard shell chest panel takes the hits from flying dirt and stones, while soft 3DF AirFit impact foam sits across the back.
Built for junior motocross, enduro and trail riders, the 3D-shaped construction is designed to sit close to the body without restricting movement on the bike. Removable rear plates and the BraceOn system let the protector be worn over or under a jersey and fitted with a Leatt neck brace.
Supplied in black, in youth sizing, and shipped in plastic-free packaging.

- Choose the size by the rider's height — Youth S/M suits 134–146 cm and Youth L/XL suits 147–159 cm — and adjust the straps so the chest plate sits centred and snug without limiting arm movement.
- If a Leatt neck brace is being worn, remove the rear plates and fit the protector using the BraceOn system so the brace and protector locate correctly together.
- Check strap tension and plate attachment before every ride; a protector that shifts on the bike will not sit where the impact lands.
- Wipe the hard shell with a soft cloth, warm water and mild soap; avoid solvents, petrol, brake cleaner and abrasive pads, which can damage the shell.
- Rinse dirt and sweat from the 3DF foam and base layer with mild soap and cool water, and press out excess water rather than wringing or twisting the foam.
- Air dry completely away from direct sunlight and never use a dryer, heater or hot air gun — heat can distort the shell and degrade the impact foam.
- Store flat or hanging in a cool, dry place, out of sunlight and away from heavy gear that could deform the shell or compress the foam.
- Inspect the shell, foam and straps regularly for cracks, splits or permanent compression, and replace the protector after a significant crash or impact even if damage is not visible.
- Do not modify, drill or cut the shell or padding, as this compromises the CE-certified protection.
