Wipe the outer shell with a soft cloth and mild soapy water; never use solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaners as these can degrade the shell and liner materials.
Clean the interior padding with a lightly dampened cloth and allow to air dry completely before storing or use.
Inspect the helmet before every ride for cracks, dents, damage to the chin strap buckle, or deterioration of the retention system.
Always fasten and correctly adjust the chin strap for a secure fit before riding — the helmet should not rock forward, backward, or side to side once fastened.
Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even where no external damage is visible; internal foam is a single-use energy absorber.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel, oils, and cleaning chemicals, which can silently weaken the shell.
Do not apply paint, adhesive stickers, or modifications not approved by the manufacturer, as these may compromise structural integrity.
