- Thread the mount onto the brake or clutch lever perch bolt and tighten firmly before every ride — do not rely on hand-tight alone.
- After fitting, confirm the mount has zero rotational or lateral play before attaching your device.
- Attach your phone by aligning the Quad Lock connector and rotating 90° until the locking click is felt.
- Re-check tightness after the first few rides, as vibration can cause initial settling.
- Periodically inspect the mount body and hardware for cracks, corrosion or stripped threads; replace the unit if any damage is present.
- Keep the twist-lock interface clean — wipe away grit or debris with a dry or lightly damp cloth; avoid solvents.
- Remove your phone before washing or pressure-cleaning the motorcycle.
- Store in a dry location if the motorcycle will not be used for an extended period.
