The Quad Lock 360 Flat Rectangle 4 Hole Base is the starting point for building a Quad Lock 360 mount on any flat, rigid surface. It bolts directly to the surface using the universal AMPS hole pattern, then accepts a Quad Lock 360 arm or head via the supplied spacer and screws.

It suits riders and builders fitting a phone mount to a fairing panel, dash, top box, handlebar clamp plate, crash bar bracket or workshop and vehicle surfaces where an existing AMPS pattern is already in place. The base can be fitted vertically, diagonally or horizontally, so the mount can be oriented to suit the bike.

Moulded in tough nylon with four fixing points, it is the more secure of the two rectangle bases — use all four screws for the strongest connection. Fasteners for attaching the base to your own surface are not included, so you can choose the correct length for the panel you are drilling.

Mount only to a flat, rigid surface — flexing or curved panels will not support the base properly.
Use all four fixing holes for the strongest connection; fitting with fewer screws reduces holding strength.
Fix the base with 10G or M5 countersunk fasteners, chosen to suit the thickness of your surface. These are not supplied.
Use the supplied M5x30 screw to join the 10mm spacer to a Quad Lock 360 Arm or Lever Head, and the M5x45 screw when connecting to the Weatherproof Wireless Charging Head.
Tighten fasteners firmly but do not overtighten — the base is nylon and the threads can be stripped or the moulding cracked.
Check all fasteners for tightness after the first few rides and periodically afterwards, as vibration can loosen them over time.
Clean with a soft cloth and mild soapy water; avoid solvents, degreasers and harsh chemicals that can degrade nylon.
Inspect the base for cracks, distortion or elongated holes after any impact or drop, and replace it rather than continuing to ride with a damaged base.
