Lubex is a multi-function penetrating lubricant spray from QAT, built on a rapeseed oil base and free of silicones. A single application repels moisture, inhibits rust and corrosion, lubricates moving parts, and penetrates seized or corroded components — making it a practical one-can solution for routine motorcycle maintenance.

Once applied, Lubex does not wash off with water, so the protective film remains intact through wet riding conditions or a post-ride wash. It is equally well suited to chains, cables, control pivot points, hinges, exposed fasteners and general workshop use. For workshops with higher consumption, the same formula is available from QAT in 5 L and 20 L drum formats.

Shake the can well before use; hold upright during application for consistent spray output.
Apply directly to motorcycle chains, cables, brake and clutch pivot points, control levers, hinges and exposed fasteners.
For seized or corroded joints, spray liberally and allow several minutes of penetration time before attempting to free the part.
Once applied, the formula does not wash off with water — no need to reapply after wet riding or a routine wash, provided coverage was thorough.
After application to a chain or cable, wipe away any heavy excess so the protective film remains without trapping excess grit or road debris.
Store the can upright in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat sources; do not expose to temperatures above 50°C.
Keep away from open flames, sparks and all ignition sources — this aerosol is classified DG2.1 (flammable aerosol).
Do not puncture or incinerate the pressurised can, even when empty.
Wear safety glasses when spraying in confined spaces or overhead — the formula can cause serious eye irritation (GHS Category 2A, signal word WARNING).
If eye contact occurs, rinse continuously with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice.
Dispose of empty cans through a local dangerous goods or hazardous waste facility; do not place in household recycling.
