The Polisport Performance Seat is a complete, ready-to-fit replacement seat for the Yamaha YZ125 and YZ250 from 2022 to 2024. Rather than a cover alone, it arrives as a finished unit — plastic base, high-performance foam and the Polisport pyramid seat cover already assembled — so a tired or damaged stock seat can be swapped out in one go.
It suits motocross and off-road riders who want fresh grip and support without piecing together a base, foam and cover separately. The pyramid-textured cover is built for adherence in mud and rain and stands up to the abrasion of modern knee braces, while the foam is shaped for comfort over a long moto.
Finished in blue with a grey base to suit Yamaha's YZ styling.

- Fit the seat using the bike's standard seat mounting hardware and check that the base locates fully on the frame mounts before tightening.
- Re-check the seat bolt or bolts after the first ride and periodically thereafter, as vibration can loosen fasteners.
- Wash with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft brush or sponge; rinse and wipe down afterwards.
- Avoid petrol, brake cleaner, solvents and harsh degreasers on the cover, as they can degrade the grip texture and stitching.
- Keep a pressure washer well back and off the cover seams and staple line to avoid forcing water into the foam or lifting the cover.
- Allow the seat to dry fully before storage or before refitting, and dry it out of direct sunlight rather than in it.
- Store the bike out of prolonged UV exposure where practical, as sustained sunlight fades and hardens seat covers over time.
- Do not sit or kneel on the base without the foam and cover fitted, and avoid resting the seat on sharp objects that can gouge the plastic.
- Inspect the cover for tears and the base for cracks or elongated mounting holes at regular service intervals, and replace if damaged.
