The Polisport Restyle MX Kit is a complete replacement bodywork set for the Suzuki RM125 and RM250 built from 2001 to 2008, finished in yellow. It covers the main plastics in one go — front and rear fenders, radiator shrouds, side panels and front number plate — so a tired, faded or cracked bike can be brought back to a clean, uniform finish in a single afternoon.
It suits riders restoring an older two-stroke, anyone wanting to freshen up a race bike between seasons, or owners who simply want to move on from scratched and sun-bleached original panels. The parts are injection moulded for an OEM-type fit, so they locate on the existing mounting points rather than needing to be forced into place.
Polisport produces the kit in a durable gloss polypropylene — a tough, UV-resistant plastic that holds its shine and takes the knocks that come with off-road riding.

- Fit the panels using your bike's original mounting hardware and rubber grommets; start every fastener by hand and leave them loose until all pieces are located, then tighten evenly so nothing is pulled out of alignment.
- Do not overtighten bolts into the plastic — polypropylene will distort or crack around the mounting eyes if pinched.
- On cooler days, leave the plastics in the sun for a short time before fitting; warm panels flex more easily onto the mounting points.
- Clean the panels with warm water and a mild detergent using a soft sponge or microfibre cloth. Avoid petrol, brake cleaner, degreasers and other strong solvents, which dull and craze the gloss surface.
- Keep a pressure washer well back and off any direct angle at panel edges and graphic corners, or you risk lifting decals and forcing water behind the panels.
- Degrease and dry the surface thoroughly before applying graphics — an alcohol wipe leaves a clean, residue-free bond area.
- Store the bike out of direct sunlight where practical; the plastic is UV resistant but prolonged exposure will eventually flatten the gloss on any coloured panel.
- Check fenders, shrouds and side panels for stress cracks after crashes or hard meetings, particularly around the bolt holes, and replace damaged pieces rather than riding on them.
- A dedicated plastic polish will lift the shine back on scuffed panels; light scuffs can be buffed out, but avoid abrasive pads that leave a permanent haze.
