The Polisport Full Wrap Fork Guards wrap almost completely around the fork leg to shield the stanchion from roost, rocks and trail debris. Compared with standard OEM guards, the full-wrap shape covers considerably more of the fork, helping prevent the chips and scratches that lead to seal damage and weeping forks.
They fit as a direct replacement for the original guards, so installation and removal are as straightforward as the stock parts, and a rear opening lets packed mud and dirt clear out rather than build up behind the guard. A cable guide is supplied for European and Japanese models.

- Fit using the original fork guard mounting points and hardware; check the guards clear the front wheel, brake line and fork travel throughout full compression and steering lock before riding.
- Route the brake line and any sensor wiring through the supplied cable guide so it cannot chafe on the fork or tyre.
- Re-check the mounting fasteners after the first ride and periodically thereafter, as vibration and impacts can loosen them.
- After muddy rides, clear packed dirt out through the rear opening and rinse behind the guard so debris is not left sitting against the stanchion.
- Wash with mild soap and warm water and a soft brush or cloth; avoid harsh solvents, petrol and abrasive pads, which can dull or craze the plastic.
- Keep high-pressure washer nozzles back from the guards and fork seals, and never aim directly at the seal area.
- Inspect the guards for cracks, deep gouges or distorted mounting tabs after crashes or heavy roost, and replace them if damaged, as a cracked guard no longer protects the stanchion.
- Check the fork stanchions and seals when the guards are removed for servicing, and refit the guards before returning the bike to use.
- Store spare guards out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from heat sources to avoid fading and warping.
