Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician — this is a tube-type (TT) casing and must be run with a correctly sized inner tube in good condition; fit a new tube whenever you fit a new tyre.
Check that the tyre size and the 54S load and speed rating meet or exceed the requirements listed in your motorcycle's owner's manual before fitting.
Observe any rotation-direction arrow marked on the sidewall when mounting, and confirm the bead is seated evenly all the way around before final inflation.
Run the tyre in gently for the first stretch of riding — avoid hard acceleration, heavy braking and deep lean angles until the mould release agents have scrubbed off the surface.
Check and adjust inflation pressure when the tyre is cold, using the pressures specified by your motorcycle manufacturer for your load; recheck at least fortnightly and before long rides.

Replace the tyre once the tread reaches the wear indicators or the legal minimum depth in your state, and after any repair that the fitter judges unsuitable for continued use.
Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from fuels, solvents and electric motors that generate ozone.
