The Pirelli Scorpion MT90 A/T in 140/80-18 M/C 70S MST TT is a rear tyre for adventure, trail and dual-sport machines that split their time between sealed roads and dirt. It is a tube-type (TT) tyre, so it suits spoked wheels running an inner tube.

The block pattern is built around large central knobs that keep the bike settled and predictable in a straight line, with a broad V-shaped layout across the rest of the tread for drive and braking bite on loose surfaces. A silica-based tread compound looks after wet and dry grip on the road, while the carcass is tuned to stay stable at higher speeds even with luggage and a pillion on board.

Have the tyre fitted and the wheel balanced by a qualified tyre technician using correct tyre-fitting equipment.
This is a tube-type tyre: fit it with a suitable inner tube and a sound rim band or rim tape on spoked wheels, and fit a fresh tube whenever you fit a new tyre.
Check the sidewall before fitting and follow any rotation arrow or fitting-direction marking.
Take it easy for the first stretch of riding on a new tyre — avoid hard acceleration, heavy braking and extreme lean angles until the moulding release agents have scrubbed off.
Check pressures cold, before long rides and at regular intervals, using the pressures specified by your motorcycle manufacturer; do not exceed the maximum pressure marked on the sidewall.
If you drop pressures for loose or sandy terrain, be aware of the increased risk of pinching the tube or the tyre creeping on the rim, and return to normal road pressures before riding on sealed roads.
Inspect the tread and sidewalls regularly for cuts, bulges, exposed cords and stones lodged between the knobs, and pick out debris before it works deeper.
Do not exceed the tyre's load and speed rating, and allow for the extra load when running luggage or a pillion.
Have punctures and any impact damage assessed by a professional rather than relying on a roadside repair, and replace the tyre before it reaches the minimum legal tread depth in your state.
Clean with mild soap and water only — keep petrol, oils, solvents and silicone-based tyre dressings off the tread, and store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and electric motors.
