The Pirelli Night Dragon GT is the cruiser tyre for riders who want Pirelli road manners on a big V-twin. This is the 200/55R17 78V tubeless rear fitment, built for Harley-Davidson and metric cruisers running modern engine sizes and the torque that comes with them.

The GT specification is the higher-mileage evolution of the standard Night Dragon, using a full carbon black compound and a stiffer carcass for steadier feel when the bike is loaded, two-up or touring. It is fully compatible with the Night Dragon front range, so you can pair it with your existing front without changing tyre families.

Sold individually as a single rear tyre. Fitting, balancing and disposal of your old tyre are not included.

Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician using the correct rim size for a 200/55R17 rear.
Observe the rotation direction marking on the sidewall when fitting — this is a rear-specific tyre.
Ride gently for the first stint on a new tyre and gradually increase lean angle and throttle so the surface scrubs in evenly.
Check and adjust inflation pressures cold, before riding, at the pressures specified in your motorcycle's owner's manual or placard — not the maximum pressure moulded on the sidewall.
Check pressures at least fortnightly and before long rides; underinflation causes overheating, uneven wear and vague handling.
Inspect the tread and sidewalls regularly for cuts, bulges, embedded stones or nails, and monitor the tread wear indicators moulded into the grooves.
Replace the tyre before it reaches the minimum legal tread depth for motorcycles in your state, and replace rather than repair if the sidewall is damaged or the tyre has taken a heavy impact.
Pair with a Night Dragon front tyre and do not mix worn and new or mismatched front/rear combinations.
Do not exceed the load and speed capability marked on the sidewall, and reduce speed when heavily loaded or two-up.
Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from petrol, solvents, and electric motors that generate ozone.
Clean with mild soapy water only — avoid tyre shine dressings, silicone sprays and solvents on the tread, as they reduce grip.
