The Pirelli Night Dragon is a cruiser and custom tyre built to carry Pirelli's road-riding performance across to heavier V-twin machinery. This is the 90/90-21 M/C 54H TL front fitment, a common size on 21-inch front wheels found across Harley-Davidson and metric cruisers.
It suits riders who want a more modern feel from a cruiser tyre — predictable feedback when turning in, dependable grip on wet and dry sealed roads, and a carcass designed to stay settled under the weight of a loaded custom or touring bike at highway speeds. - Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician using proper tyre-fitting equipment.
- As a tubeless tyre, fit only to a rim rated and marked for tubeless use, and check that the valve and rim sealing surfaces are in good condition.
- Follow any rotation-direction arrow and fitment markings moulded into the sidewall.
- Set and check inflation pressures to the pressures specified on your motorcycle's tyre placard or in the owner's manual — always check pressures when the tyre is cold.
- Ride with restraint for the initial period after fitment so the new tread surface can scuff in and reach full grip; avoid hard acceleration, braking and deep lean angles until then.
- Inspect regularly for cuts, bulges, embedded objects and uneven wear, and replace the tyre once the tread wear indicators are reached.
- Do not exceed the tyre's load index (54) or speed rating (H), and keep the bike within its own load limits.
- Keep petrol, oil, brake fluid, solvents and chain lube off the rubber; clean with mild soap and water only.
- Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, and sharp objects.
- Repairs and re-inflation after a puncture should be assessed by a professional — a damaged carcass or a sidewall puncture cannot be safely repaired.
