- Check tyre pressure cold before every ride using a calibrated gauge; follow your motorcycle manufacturer's recommended pressure for a 100/90-19 front fitment — do not rely on visual inspection alone.
- Allow a break-in distance of approximately 100 km with varied, moderate riding before exploiting full lean angles; new tyres carry release agents from the mould that temporarily reduce grip.
- Inspect the tyre regularly for cuts, embedded objects, sidewall cracking, or uneven wear; remove from service immediately if structural damage is found.
- Monitor tread depth and replace before it reaches the Australian legal minimum of 1.5 mm; built-in wear indicators in the main grooves mark this threshold.
- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre technician using motorcycle-specific equipment — never fit a motorcycle tyre on a car-type machine.
- Keep the tyre free from contact with oil, fuel, solvents, and silicone-based tyre dressings, all of which degrade the rubber compound.
