- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician using the correct machinery — do not attempt roadside or DIY fitment.
- Observe the rotation direction and any fitting markings moulded into the sidewall when mounting.
- As a tubeless (TL) tyre, fit only to a rim rated and sealed for tubeless use; do not fit an inner tube unless the motorcycle or tyre manufacturer specifically permits it.
- Ride gently for the first ride after fitment so the new tread surface can scrub in before you use full lean angle or hard acceleration.
- Check and adjust inflation pressures when the tyre is cold, using the pressures specified in your motorcycle's owner's handbook — never guess, and re-check regularly.
- Stay within the tyre's load index (76) and speed rating (H), and account for pillion and luggage weight.
- Inspect the tread and sidewalls before rides for cuts, embedded objects, bulges or uneven wear, and replace the tyre if the tread has reached the moulded wear indicators or your local legal minimum tread depth.
- After any puncture, impact or kerb strike, have the tyre inspected internally by a professional rather than relying on an external check.
- Clean with mild soapy water and rinse; keep petrol, solvents, brake cleaner, tyre dressings and chain lube off the tread and sidewalls.
