The Pirelli MT60 RS is a radial rear motorcycle tyre designed for modern scramblers, naked bikes, and retro-styled roadsters. The 180/55ZR17 fitment suits a wide range of contemporary 17-inch rear wheels, and the tubeless construction allows for standard roadside repair in the event of a puncture.
Despite its adventure-inspired tread profile, the MT60 RS is engineered primarily for road use, offering a balance of grip and longevity suited to everyday riding and spirited road work on street-oriented motorcycles.

- Check tyre pressure when cold before each ride; use the pressure specified in your motorcycle's owner's manual, not a generic figure.
- New tyres carry a mould-release agent — allow a break-in period of approximately 100 km at moderate lean angles before riding at full pace or full lean.
- Inspect the tyre visually before each ride for cuts, embedded objects, bulges, or uneven wear patterns.
- Replace the tyre when tread depth reaches the wear indicators moulded into the tread grooves; do not ride on a tyre that has reached the wear limit.
- Do not mix tyre constructions (radial and crossply) on the same motorcycle without consulting Pirelli's fitment guidance.

- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician using tubeless-compatible equipment; confirm the rim is tubeless-rated before fitment.
- Keep the tyre free from contact with oils, fuels, brake fluid, and solvents, which degrade the rubber compound.
- When storing an unused tyre, keep it in a cool, dark, dry location away from ozone sources (such as electric motors) and UV light, ideally inside an airtight bag.
