The Pirelli Diablo Rosso Sport is a cross-ply road tyre built for underbones, scooters and small-capacity sports and touring motorcycles. This 110/70-17 M/C 54S TL size is a tubeless fitment that can be used on the front or the rear, depending on your bike's specified sizes.

It suits riders who spend most of their time commuting and doing weekend rides on sealed roads, and who want confident grip without giving up mileage. The tread pattern takes its cues from Pirelli's Diablo Supercorsa, while the profile and compound are aimed at predictable lean-in and dependable wet-weather behaviour on the kind of low-grip city surfaces — painted lines, tram tracks, polished bitumen — that make up a daily ride.

Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician — this is a tubeless (TL) casing and must be fitted to a rim rated for tubeless use.
Check the sidewall markings before fitting and follow the indicated rotation direction for front or rear use, as the correct direction differs between the two positions.
Bed the tyre in progressively over the first stretch of riding: avoid hard acceleration, heavy braking and full lean angles until the mould-release finish has scrubbed off the full width of the tread.
Set and check inflation pressures cold, using the pressures specified by your motorcycle's manufacturer for the load you are carrying. Check at least every couple of weeks and before longer rides.
Do not exceed the load and speed rating marked on the sidewall (54S).
Inspect regularly for cuts, bulges, embedded stones or nails, and uneven or feathered wear; have any damage assessed by a tyre specialist before riding.
Replace the tyre before it reaches the Australian legal minimum tread depth of 1.5 mm across the tread, and use the tread wear indicators moulded into the grooves as a guide.
Clean with mild soap and water only. Keep petrol, brake fluid, solvents and silicone-based tyre dressings off the tread and sidewalls.
Store spare tyres upright or laid flat in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, and away from electric motors and other ozone sources.
A plug or patch repair should be treated as a specialist job with speed restrictions — never ride on a repaired tyre without having it assessed professionally.
