The Pirelli Diablo Rosso III is a sport road tyre built on technology Pirelli developed through its involvement in the World Superbike Championship. - Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician using the correct machinery; do not attempt roadside or DIY fitting on a 240-section rear.
- Observe the directional rotation arrow moulded into the sidewall when fitting.
- Scrub the tyre in gradually over the first ride or two: build up lean angle progressively and avoid hard acceleration, heavy braking and maximum lean until the release agent has worn off the full tread width.
- Check and set cold inflation pressures to the pressures specified in your motorcycle's owner's manual or tyre placard, and re-check at least fortnightly and before long rides.
- Do not exceed the tyre's load index (82) or speed rating (W), and never overload the motorcycle.
- Inspect regularly for cuts, bulges, embedded objects, uneven or feathered wear and sidewall damage; replace the tyre if any are found.
- Monitor tread depth and replace before it reaches the minimum legal depth required in your state or territory, or when the tread wear indicators are reached.
- This tyre is tubeless — do not fit an inner tube unless the wheel and tyre combination is approved for it, and treat any puncture repair as temporary and speed-limited.
- Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, petrol, oils, solvents and electric motors that generate ozone.
- Clean the sidewalls with mild soapy water only; keep solvents, degreasers and silicone tyre shine products off the tread surface.
- Replace front and rear as a matched pair or set where possible, and avoid mixing tyre models across axles.
