The Pirelli Angel ST is a sport touring radial built for riders who want everyday all-weather confidence without giving up dry-road grip. This is the 180/55ZR17 M/C (73W) TL rear fitment, sized for the majority of modern sports tourers, naked bikes and larger road bikes running a 17-inch rear wheel.
Pirelli describes it as the tyre with a double soul: a sport touring compound aimed at safety across changing conditions, paired with profiles developed for neutral, predictable steering. Its 0° steel belt casing warms up quickly, spreads heat evenly and supports high mileage, while the tread pattern changes character over the first stage of its life — Angel or Demon, depending on how you ride it.
Sold individually as a single rear tyre. Fitment and balancing should be carried out by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician.

- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician using proper tyre-changing equipment; do not attempt to fit a radial tubeless tyre with levers alone.
- Only fit to a rim of the correct width and diameter for 180/55ZR17, and make sure the rim, valve and sealing bead area are undamaged and clean — a tubeless tyre relies on the rim seal to hold air.
- If the tyre carries a rotation-direction arrow on the sidewall, fit it so the arrow matches the wheel's normal direction of travel.
- Ride gently for the initial run-in period so the release agents and mould finish scrub off the new tread, and progressively increase lean angle rather than pushing hard on the first ride.
- Check cold inflation pressures regularly and always set them to the pressures specified in your motorcycle's owner's manual or on the bike's tyre placard — never to a figure taken from the tyre sidewall alone.
- Do not exceed the load and speed capability of the 73W rating, and reduce pace on wet, cold or contaminated surfaces where grip is lower and warm-up is slower.
- Inspect the tread and sidewalls before rides for cuts, bulges, embedded stones or nails, uneven or stepped wear, and replace the tyre once the tread wear indicators are reached or if it is damaged.
- Avoid getting petrol, oil, brake fluid, solvents or tyre-shine dressings on the tread or sidewalls; clean with mild soapy water and rinse, and keep the tread itself free of any slippery product.
- Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors and welders, and any chemicals or fuels.
- After any puncture, impact with a kerb or pothole, or a period of running underinflated, have the tyre inspected internally by a professional before further use.
