  • Handle the insert by its edges only — fingerprints on the inner surface degrade the moisture-absorbing coating and anti-fog performance.
  • Clean with mild soap and lukewarm water using a soft, clean microfibre cloth; rinse thoroughly and do not rub aggressively.
  • Never use solvents, alcohol, methylated spirits, or abrasive cloths, as these will permanently damage the anti-fog coating.
  • Allow the insert to air dry completely before reinstalling it in the visor.
  • When mounting, seat the insert firmly onto both Pinlock pins and press the silicone bead evenly around the full perimeter of the visor to form an unbroken airtight seal.
  • Inspect the silicone bead periodically — if it is flattened, cracked, or no longer seats evenly, replace the insert to restore full anti-fog performance.
  • If persistent fogging, deep scratching, or discolouration of the lens is noticed, replace the insert rather than attempting to repair it.
  • Store the insert flat in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight when not fitted to the helmet.
