Penrite MC-4ST 10W-60 is a premium full synthetic four stroke engine oil built on 100% PAO and Ester base oils, blended with an advanced additive package for protection against wear, corrosion, oxidation, piston deposits and sludge. Its extra-high operating temperature viscosity suits engines working hard under load and heat, and it exceeds the requirements of API SN/CF and JASO MA2.

It is designed for modern four stroke road and sports bikes, dirt and enduro bikes, ATVs and quads, and four stroke scooters calling for a full synthetic oil. Being JASO MA2 compliant, it is equally at home in shared engine and gearbox systems running a wet clutch, where clutch slip prevention matters. It can also be used where an SAE 10W-50 or 15W-50 grade is specified, including many Aprilia, Benelli, Cagiva, Husqvarna, KTM, Moto Guzzi and MV Agusta models, and in other four stroke engines such as stationary motors and generators that require this grade.

  • Check your owner's manual for the manufacturer's recommended viscosity grade, oil capacity and service interval before use — this oil suits engines specifying 10W-60, and can also be used where 10W-50 or 15W-50 is recommended.
  • Drain the old oil while the engine is warm (not hot) so it flows freely and carries contaminants out with it.
  • Replace the oil filter and sump plug sealing washer at each oil change, and torque the plug to the manufacturer's specification.
  • Refill to the manufacturer's capacity, run the engine briefly, then recheck the level with the bike upright and level using the sight glass or dipstick, topping up as needed.
  • Do not mix with other oils or aftermarket additives — doing so can dilute the additive package and affect wet clutch performance.
  • Avoid energy-conserving or friction-modified passenger car oils in wet clutch machines; this oil's JASO MA2 rating is what keeps the clutch from slipping.
  • Store the bottle upright, sealed, in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight, and keep the cap on to prevent moisture and dirt contamination.
  • Wipe up spills immediately and keep oil off tyres, brake discs, pads and painted surfaces.
  • Avoid prolonged skin contact with new or used oil and wash thoroughly after handling.
  • Take used oil and filters to a licensed oil recycling or collection facility — never pour them down drains or onto the ground.
